Community Guidelines
Last updated: September 9, 2026
Tikki is a place to share videos, go live, and connect with people learning new languages. These Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed on Tikki, and apply to every video, live stream, comment, message, profile, and gift on the platform.
1. Safety First
We do not allow content that: sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way — this is never tolerated and is reported to the relevant authorities; depicts or promotes suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders; threatens, incites, or glorifies violence; promotes terrorism or violent extremism; or facilitates human trafficking or the sale of illegal goods or services.
2. Respect Each Other
Harassment, bullying, hate speech, and content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or immigration status are not allowed. Impersonating another person or organization in a deceptive way is not allowed.
3. Nudity and Sexual Content
Tikki is not a platform for pornography or sexually explicit content. We restrict nudity and sexual content, with narrow exceptions for content with genuine artistic, educational, or documentary context, clearly labeled as such.
4. Authentic Content
Do not post content designed to deceive, such as misinformation that could cause real-world harm, manipulated media presented as authentic without disclosure, spam, or fake engagement (bought or bot-driven likes, views, comments, or followers).
5. Live Streaming Rules
Everything on this list applies in real time during live streams. A live stream that violates these Guidelines will be ended immediately, without warning, and may result in account restrictions. You are responsible for the behavior of anyone you invite into your stream.
6. Coins, Gifts, and Fair Play
Do not use Coins, gifts, or the withdrawal system to launder money, run gambling schemes, or manipulate rankings or challenge results. Creators must not solicit gifts through coercive, misleading, or exploitative tactics, including from users who appear to be minors.
7. Language Exchange Conduct
Our language-exchange matching, timed sessions, and voice rooms exist for genuine language practice. Do not use these features to solicit, harass, or share content unrelated to language learning that would otherwise violate these Guidelines.
8. Intellectual Property
Only post content you created or have the rights to share. Reposting someone else's video, music, or artwork without permission may be removed in response to a valid rights complaint.
9. Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may remove content, apply a warning, restrict specific features (such as live streaming or gifting), or suspend or permanently ban an account. Automated systems flag likely violations for human review before enforcement in most cases; severe or clear-cut violations (such as child sexual abuse material) are removed immediately.
10. Reporting and Appeals
If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, please report it using the in-app report tools. If you believe an enforcement action against your account was made in error, contact us using the support details in the app to request a review.
